Gabriella Victoria
Harpist
Gabriella Victoria is a French harpist, born in Bordeaux in a musician's Family. She started her musicals's studies at the "Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Bordeaux", and enrolled in 2008 the " Conservatoire National Supérieur de Lyon" in Fabrice Pierre's class. Furthermore Gabriella took masterclasses with acclaimed professors such as Isabelle Moretti, Catherine Michel Germaine Lorenzini and Park Stickney.
The harpist started soon to develop a passion for orchestras, and played as principal harpist among renowned youth orchestras such as Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, Orchestre Français des Jeunes, and l’European Union Youth orchestra. In 2011 she entered at the prestigious academy Mendelssohn-Orchesterakademie from the Gewandhaus orchestra in Leipzig. Since 2015 she is the principal harpist of the Gewandhaus orchestra, and as well professor of the orchestra academy.
Since 2016 Gabriella is a member of the Ensemble Juliette Rahon & Co, with whom she was part of the creation of "Nomade". In 2018 Gabriella performed with the ensemble the piece "Les Nomades" at the Leipzig Opera.
