Katie Douglas

Dancer

Katie Douglas, is an Australian dancer and pedagogue born in 1991. She began her training with Kellie Williamson at the Ballerina Academy of Dance in Melbourne, Australia. She moved to Germany in 2012, to study at the Iwanson International of contemporary dance. In 2014 she works with Juliette Rahon, for the piece „Between Reality and Insanity“, which received the 2nd prize. She was part of Project 'öjn' on the island of Gotland, Sweden with director Robert 'Rawburt' Söderström. Katie was recently involved in Tasdance Company’s Exposure summer intensive in Australia.

Since 2018 Katie is a member of the Ensemble Juliette Rahon & Co and Performed the Premiere of the piece "1001 Leben", in Leipzig (Germany) .
